纪念公园, built in 2003, is 103.3 acres within the Murdock Village CRA and funded by 1998 Sales Tax, 2002年销售税, 公园 and Rec 影响费用 and by the Florida 娱乐 Development Assistance Program.
The park is home to the Snowbird Classic College Baseball Tournament in March and features a challenging 18 hole Disc Golf course.
In 2009 Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 5690 partnered with the County to develop the Veterans Memorial Walkway. The walkway features a brick plaza with the US Flag, 佛罗里达的国旗, and POW/MIA flag with a granite monument honoring all veterans. The walkway allows quiet retrospect, and leads to a monument that represents each branch of the military as well as POW/MIAs. The VFW holds a memorial ceremony on Veterans Day each year.
